About me

I’m Alba, I was born in Terrassa, a city near Barcelona. The world of art has always been present in my life; from a young age I was drawn to theatre, drawing, and photography, and later I discovered my passion for cinema.
I studied a Bachelor’s degree in Cinematography at ESCAC, where I graduated in 2024 with a specialization in Art Direction. Driven by a constant desire to learn, I continued my education by completing a Master’s degree in Art Direction, also at ESCAC, which allowed me to deepen my understanding of the department and refine my knowledge, interests, and creative vision. Although I remain open to other disciplines and believe that exploring different areas enriches the learning process, I developed a particular interest in the fields of Assistant Art Director and Set Dressing, areas in which I would like to continue developing and growing.
Currently, and seeing a clear parallel with the art department, I am studying the Ephemeral Construction course at ESCAC. Through this program, I am learning carpentry, volume, painting, and other disciplines, discovering a new facet of cinema that also fascinates me. I am especially drawn to the possibility of building with my own hands the sets that have previously been imagined—one of the most vibrant and stimulating parts of the filmmaking process. Through this field, I have discovered my passion for carpentry and painting.
I consider myself an entrepreneurial, curious, hardworking, and enthusiastic person. Cinema is a true passion of mine, and I would love to continue being part of projects that nourish me and provide experiences and knowledge for my professional growth.
